Marriage Mondays ~ Revive Us Oh Lord

"Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?" Psalm 85:6

The Holy Spirit moved in our church today and Oh, what a Happy Day it was!

Our Associate Pastor spoke on the need for revival in today's Church. We have become lackadaisical in our walk with the Lord. So many Christians today have lost their vigor and fire to spread the love of God to those around them.  We have forgotten the joy and excitement we felt when we first experienced God's Amazing Grace in our lives.

My heart overflowed with emotion as people approached the altar to pray at the end of the service. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will continue to move in the hearts of those in attendance today.

Oh sisters not only will we see a difference in our hearts when we have revival in Christ ~ but can you imagine the difference we will experience in our marriages?
  • hard hearts will be softened
  • cold & lukewarm hearts will be ignited on fire
  • apathetic hearts will care again
Is your marriage lethargic and listless? Do you long for the days when your marriage was flourishing?

God never promised the Christian life would be easy. But, he did promise he would be with us in Matthew 28:20.
"and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world"
He is with you. He cares about your marriage and He wants your marriage to be full of life & strength.

Spend some time in prayer this week asking God to revive your heart for Him & to revive your heart for you marriage.

I have missed Marriage Mondays and am so glad to be back. Please leave me a comment and let me know how I can be praying for you.

In His Calm,

Mary
