When you think of fall what thoughts and memories come to mind?
For me its a cool, crisp, excitement.
New routines begin as school starts back and new experiences take place as after-school actives begin.
As much fun as we had this summer with carefree days it would be easy to dread the days of routine the fall brings.
But not here. Routines can be a good thing. They bring order to chaotic days. We know what to expect and there is a level of comfort there.
But there are those days when we throw routine to the wind and take them as they come. Days when we jump in the car, pick the kids up from school & surprise them with a road trip to have dinner with family. And days when we get up WAY too early on a Saturday morning and travel with friends to an Apple Orchard.
On these days we are making special memories, ones the kids will look back on for a lifetime. Ones they will cherish as blessings of laughter & family time.

- air conditioning repaired in less than 24 hours
- Hubba Hubba BBQ on a picnic table in the mountains
- finding a new mountain town
- Cioppino on Labor Day
- surprising my kids by "rapping"
